Women’s life depended on where they lived and how wealthy the family was. Most women or girls were mothers by the age of fifteen. Women had to do way more than they should have been doing in my opinion. They had to run the household, helped husbands with their jobs, cooked, cleaned, worked, and sometimes ran their own business. Since women weren’t able to do all the things men could, some of the women were great achievers, writers, artist, doctors, warriors, even rulers. Most women they just did house work and took care of their kids. Like they made clothes, cooked, cleaned, like I mentioned early.
Back in the medieval days men didn't work a lot they just always faught in wars. So that's why women were so responsible, because they had a lot of responsibilities to handle. Nowadays people say men run the household. In medieval times it was the total opposite, women ran the house they told everybody and everything what to do and how to do it! They did that because they felt like since they had so many responibilites they could tell people what to do. Most medieval women lived hard harsh lives. Some women lived a happy life but since the men dominated the women's population they couldn't too much of a good life.
